Policy debate still going strong

As a whole, policy debate is maintaining strong participation according to a recent op-ed written by Alfred "Tuna" Snider, Lawrence Professor of Forensics at the University of Vermont.

The UM team has certainly noticed this trend with the surge in novice debaters joining the team this year.
According to Dave Steinberg, the Director of Debate for the university, "This new novice class, is the largest group we've had in over a decade".
