Medieval Times Outing

After a long week at the retreat house in Haines City, the debate team went out for a well deserved dinner at Medieval Times. A huge thanks goes out to Dave for taking us out. The team feasted like kings on a three course meal, watched knights joust to a dramatically exaggerated pulp, partook in an incredible showcase with stunning Arabian horses, and even managed to squeeze in a tour through a gallery of  medieval torture devices.
Coach Dave Steinberg, was ready for a night of feast and battle!

Practice debates are underway

Adaeze Ajoku and Tristan Montaque faced off against Yolanda Richard and Robert Hupf in the first practice round of the year for the UM squad. This year's policy debate topic is Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its democratic assistance for one or more of the following: Libya, Egypt, Bahrain, Syria, Yemen and Tunisia.
